Billing and Insurance

We do not direct bill insurance companies at this time. Some private insurance plans may cover Nurse Practitioner services. Please contact your insurance provider directly to confirm your coverage.

Prescriptions and Limitations of Virtual Care

NuHaven Health follows all provincial and national guidelines for virtual healthcare. Please note:

  • Controlled substances and restricted medications cannot be prescribed or refilled through virtual appointments.

  • Some health concerns may require an in-person assessment to ensure safe and effective care. If this is the case, your Nurse Practitioner will inform you or direct you to emergency services if necessary.

Our Commitment to Safe, Respectful Care

We are committed to delivering respectful, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care rooted in evidence-based practices.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior toward our staff. If such behavior occurs, we reserve the right to end the appointment immediately and discontinue access to future services.
